The ARCHIBUS Workplace Services Portal App provides opportunity to deliver the power and value of FM services and information to the enterprise.
The app increases enterprise staff productivity by facilitating FM service requests such as to reserve rooms, “hotel” spaces, and locate people or spaces. The app also allows the user to review FM information such as the user's department space, facility requests, and reservations.
The ARCHIBUS Workplace Services Portal App comprises five "mini apps":
Reservations: The Reservations App integrates directly with ARCHIBUS Web Central Reservations to enable searches for an open conference room by location, date, time, capacity, and room arrangement, and view room details, including location on the floor plan.
Hoteling: The Hoteling App integrates directly with ARCHIBUS Web Central Hoteling, letting users remotely search for an open work space by date, duration, time of day, location, room characteristics, and ownership, and view room details including location on the floor plan.
Service Desk: With the Service Desk App, enterprise staff have one place to go for all work orders and other service requests, and all requests are directed to one place for FM staff, saving the enterprise and FM department valuable time. All requests follow the business logic defined in the ARCHIBUS Web Central Service Desk application SLAs for routing and notifications.
Locate Room or Employees: The Locate Room and Locate Employee functions in the ARCHIBUS Workplace Services Portal App make it easy to search for and find rooms and employees on a floor plan. Detailed information about the site, building, floor, room, and employee is available at the press of a button.
My Department Space: The My Department Space feature graphically displays on a floor plan the spaces owned by users. The user can navigate sites, buildings, and floors, either through a list or graphically. Detailed information about sites, buildings, floors, and rooms owned by your department are available at the press of a button.
