ABOUT THE NEW BULGARIAN UNIVERSITY:
At New Bulgarian University - at the Department of Architecture there are Facility Management courses – divided in Facility Management lecture course and also training course.
The FM courses present the main goals, objectives and tools for the implementation of activities related to Facility Management. The scope and methods of Facility Management for safe, economically justified and energy efficient operations of the building stock are defined. The energy efficiency and the possibilities for energy efficient reconstruction of the buildings are considered as a main reserve for optimization of the maintenance and management of the buildings.
ABOUT ARCHIBUS EDUCATIONAL GRANT:
The grant offered by Archibus consists in authorizing the faculty to use all Archibus modules to support in training and qualifying specialists in the study and design of buildings and facilities, urban development, interior and design for architecture.
Archibus provides applications that fully integrate data, floorplans, and functionality into one system, providing a central repository of information.
Such modules as Portfolio Management, Lease Administration, Cost Administration help in the process of workflow optimization of real estate portfolio management and maximize the lease and sales properties value. As well as the modules Space Inventory & Performance, Space Chargeback, Personnel & Occupancy, Strategic Space Planning, Enterprise Move Management that enhance design/planning capabilities to use space more efficiently.
And other modules that Integrate building models and data for full building and asset lifecycle management from initial design/build to real estate, facility and business operational processes.
New Bulgarian University is not the only educational institution that was offered this type of educational grant, but the first in Bulgaria. Archibus will continue to support educational institutions and of course, future Facility Managers in their endeavor to improve and create a better world.
